I’d love to be ‘a local’ at @thelocals_cafe… 🤣🤣
The Locals has an amazing brunch menu with a great mix of 🌱Vegan, 💚Vegetarian & Omni options from smoothie bowls, avocado toast, shakshuka, pancakes etc.. Plus its right out of the way from busy streets, in an apartment complex, so it’s like a little oasis in London.
And, not to say that this should be a factor in your ‘brunch choosing’ decisions. But, personally, I find this a very Instagrammable brunch in London. It is slightly on the expensive side. But, at the same time, I really enjoyed absolutely everything I tried so I was happy to pay the amount.
What we Ordered from The Locals Cafe, Chelsea :
. 🤤Activated Charcoal Smoothie Bowl (🌱 Ve) – avocado, banana & apple smoothie w/ berried, coconut and omega seeds.
👍 You can never go wrong with a smoothie bowl! The inclusion of Avocado in this one really made the mix super creamy and R & I ate it like dessert. Yumm!

🤤Truffle & Wild mushroom folded eggs (💚 V) – on sourdough toast
👍 What is this magic?! How do they make the eggs look like this, someone please tell me. Either way, this was absolutely delicious! the truffle oil was juicy and added amazing flavour to the dish and the portion size is perfect. Would happily eat again!

🤤Eggs Royale – w/ smoked salmon & hollandaise on a fresh brioche bun
👍 This was R’s dish. His words ‘honestly, beautiful! Everything was really well balanced and there wasn’t a single negative element’- I tried some of the hollandaise sauce and 👌👌👌. Also , I haven’t really taken a great photo to show how cute that little ‘bread top hat’ type presentation is.
