1,2,3 OR 4? From @ovalnightmarket last night. on again tonight ( right now) and for another two days next month! 🍩🍨🍝🥪. It’s worth noting that the Oval Night Market was a Summer only event. However, when visiting the website, there seem to be Autumn/Winter events in the pipeline. I’ll try to keep this page updated when noticing new events being announced.
While the actual area of the night market was fairly small, it was still a lovely evening out and the food/drink vendors were well chosen.
What we ate at Oval Night Market :
1- 🌱 Philly Cheesesteak meal deal from @jakesvegansteaks
💷 £11.50 w/ chips and drink 👍I was super skeptical when trying this because I am NOT a seitan fan. Like, at all. Consider me a convert! This was DELICIOUS! So much flavour and a generous dose of cheesy sauce. Yumm!
2- Gnoc’ n Cheese from @gnocchiat84
💷 £7
👍 You really can’t go wrong with fresh Gnocchi in a cheesy, leek-y sauce. Plus massive portions! win-win. In fact, the portion was so generous that we struggled to finish it due to just how rich the sauce was.
3- 🌱 Black sesame & Chocolate orange Vegan ice-cream from @blackmilqicecream
💷 £3.50 one scoop / £6 for two 👍Okay, so originally I wanted to try the almond butter & blackberry ( because doesn’t that sound delicious?!) instead of the black sesame but it was too frozen to serve ( story of my life). This chocolate orange ice-cream was one of the best I’ve had in my life. AND 100% vegan. The cashew base makes it super rich!
4- Biscoff caramel & Nutella + oreo donuts from @thetreatsclub 💷 two for £5
👍I’m more of a ‘filled’ donut type of gal, I have to admit. LOVED the biscoff caramel sauce though and can’t go wrong with some marshamllow fluff of the Nutella one.
