I cannot tell you how long I’ve waited to try @kaliforniakitchen rainbow, plant-based food! So when I found out they are the newest addition to @markethallfulham , I took the first opportunity to visit- today!
They offer a mixture of vegan healthy and ‘junk food’ options as well as smoothies, juices etc. With a special weekend brunch menu including pancakes!🥞
What we ordered:
🤤 Galaxy Bowl [blue spirulina, banana & oat milk smoothie w/ CBD granola, blueberries + coconut yoghurt.]
👍Honestly, this was the star of the show! This came off the weekend brunch menu served 10-3. Although it’s just a simple banana smoothie, the cbd granola was delicious and getting a spoonful of smoothie with chia, granola, coconut flakes and blueberry was the perfect bite! Both R & I finished the smoothie bowl with a definite plan to come back at another time for more.
🤤 Nacho Bowl [ w/ chilli-non-carne, guacamole & salsa]
👌 I love homemade nacho chips and the MOUNTAIN of food that is this dish is amazing! My one main issue was the sheer amount of cilantro ( I think) in the guac. I hate it with a passion. Rhys also wasn’t a fan of the super herby guac. Would defo get again, herb-free as the rest of the dish was absolutely delicious. Loved the nutritious quinoa chilli for a healthier nacho dish.
🤤Kalifornia classic burger [ moving mountains patty w/ vegan gouda, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickled cabbage & chips]
👌The moving mountains vegan patty is just genius and I’ve always loved the smoky taste and juicy texture. Only had a bite of the burger but was very impressed with the vegan gouda too!! R only had one complaint really which was that the patty was a bit too juicy, meaning everything around it got a bit wet too and he ‘doesn’t do’ soggy bread. Not an issue for me at all. I’d be happy to order it in the future and the lightly spiced fries were 😍
