Warm summer days are perfect for a bakery visit and this new one @bridgebaker on Wandsworth bridge rd has a lovely selection of fresh bread, baked goods, smoothies and even alcohol.
While we tried just vegetarian options, there are a few vegan options too so we’ll give them a go soon too, as well as their new brunch options. Now, it’s not the cheapest place around when it comes to their lunch options. In fact, it’s quite pricey. But for the smaller pastries, the prices are ones we were happy to pay for the quality of product.

What we tried:
🤤 Focaccia [ w/ a cheese and tomato topping]
👍can’t go wrong with a piece of delicious focaccia bread. Especially one that tastes like pizza! Soft, fluffy and pillow-y, with a great ratio of cheese to other toppings.
🤤 Mini Lemon Tart
👌 I only took a bite of this one but it got a big thumbs up from Rhys. Creamy lemon filling and delicious sweet pastry crust.
🤤 Chocolate Butterscotch ( I think) brownie
👌 Definitely the star of the show. Now, this is what a brownie should be! Super fudgy consistency and a delicious topping! I can’t stand buying a brownie only to get something that’s dry and cake-like in texture. To me, a brownie needs to be super rich and fudgy. This one definitely fits the bill! And the added butterscotch perfectly complimented the chocolate. Definitely a brownie I’d be happy to get again.
